Hi Sandra!
Nice to chat with you again! You must be very excited with your vacation getting so close. I admire all of the planning you are doing I and thank you wholeheartedly for visiting us "Moms" with your questions. We are privileged to help.
I have stayed in the
All Star Music Family Suite as well as their standard rooms and can say that I enjoyed the suite life more. However, each vacation budget is different and the value of a suite will depend upon your budget and amenities you desire. The biggest advantages for me were the separate sleeping quarters for the adults and having two bathrooms. Even though I stayed in the suite with 4 kids, I felt like we had plenty of room and my husband and I were able to stay up late while the kids slept in "their room". All of the Family Suites are in a preferred location, so popping over to the Intermissions Food Court is easy to do. The Family Suites at the All-Stars Music are equipped with a kitchenette which includes a mini-fridge, coffee maker, microwave, sink, and small pantry. As of this writing date there aren't kettles, but my tea loving oldest daughter just either used the coffee maker or the microwave for her hot water.
As for the cost, on average a family suite is approximately the cost of two standard rooms. The best way for you to know the cost of upgrading to a Family Suite would be to contact the travel agent you have booked the vacation with and have them price out the difference. For a long vacation like yours, you might feel this upgrade is worth it to have.
Sandra if you have any other questions, please come back and visit us. We are here to help you plan your magical vacation experience!
Blessings,
