We booked 4 nights at the CBR in WDW after our cruise but check in is not until 3 pm? Do cruise passengers get an option of checking in earlier? we will be in WDW by 12 pm and exhausted from the cruise. What do you recommend?

    Hi Norma.

Disney Resort Hotels' usual, guaranteed check-in time is indeed usually between 2:00-4:00pm. This is the time your room is guaranteed to be ready and can be affected by the previous Guests checking out and housekeeping having sufficient time to prepare your room for you.

Be sure that you process your Online Check In on the Walt Disney World site and definitely indicate your early arrival time when you do so. Upon arrival at the resort, the Cast Member processing your check-in will be able to allow you an early check-in provided that the room type you've reserved is available at that time. If you want to be double-sure your early arrival is noted, call in at (407) 939-7675 and have a Cast Member add a note to your file, requesting early check in at noon as you'll be arriving from a cruise. Requests cannot be guaranteed, but Cast Members will always do their best to ensure your happiness and satisfaction based on what is available to them.

If by chance your room isn't yet ready, you'll be able to check your bags into Bell Services to be securely held, and you can opt to be notified by text when your room is ready. You'll still be issued your Key To The World Cards right away and will be able to use Park Tickets, Dining Plan if applicable or simply enjoy the Resort Recreation amenities and choose to keep out a day bag and go relax by one of the resort's quiet pool areas.

Through my many, many visits to Walt Disney World, I've only once had a room not ready when I arrived for early check-in, and have checked in as early as 11am and 1pm without problem. I hope you'll be as lucky as I've been and will get into your resort room early too!

Wishing you a simply Magical time on your cruise and Walt Disney World vacation Norma!
