Hi Paula,
Welcome to planDisney!
How wonderful to hEAR that you have booked a
vacation package to the Walt Disney World Resort. First, make sure that you have a My Disney Experience account. Since it sounds like you have one, you will just need to
link that vacation package to your account. In addition to using the link I just highlighted, you can always log into My Disney Experience, click on My Plans, click on the plus sign to Add More Plans, and then click on Link Reservations and Purchases.
To link your vacation package, you just need the confirmation number that should have been emailed to you when you booked the package. Once you link it, you can log back into My Disney Experience, click on My Plans, and scroll down to view your vacation package. You should also see an option to Make a Payment. We always use that option to make online payments on our vacation packages.
Once that package is linked, you need to make
Disney Park Pass system reservations as soon as possible. If you make park pass reservations and then later decide that you want to switch parks, check the
theme park reservation availability calendar first. Currently, park pass reservations are a must-have, so make sure to book those. Given that your visit is close to the launch of
The World's Most Magical Celebration, the parks and resorts could be quite busy.
As it gets closer to the dates of your trip, right at the 60-day mark, be sure to make
advanced dining reservations. On our most recent trip, I was so glad we had dining reservations for most of our meals. Even though we could use
Mobile Food & Beverage Ordering, those dining reservations gave me some reassurance that we would always have something to eat at a reasonable hour.
Paula, we are so excited to welcome you soon for an
Incredible Disney visit!
Magic and memories,
Donyell
