I booked a 6night room stay at a host hotel for the princess 1/2 in 2013 through WDW-IRUN I found this rate was actually $100 more than just booking through the regular Disney reservations. Should I have done something different to get a discount?

    Hi Julie!

If you booked through WDW-IRUN, then you should have received the runners discount.  Sometimes, though, a Disney special offer will be an even better deal than the runners discount.

You should call the reservation number again (407-WDW-IRUN) and explain that you found it cheaper through regular reservations.  If it still doesn't become a better deal, I would book with the regular resort option and cancel the runner's reservation.  You will still be able to use the Disney buses to and from race events, but you would lose the runDisney souvenir in the change.

Please let me know if you have any more trouble or questions!
