We have booked a 5 night Pixar Days at Sea cruise on the Fantasy for 4/23 - 28th, 2027. We were wondering about the cruise attire schedule (when is optional dress up night & when pirate night might be..do we still get Pirate night on a Pixar cruise?)

    Hi Cindy,

Ahoy there! Thanks for stopping by planDisney with your question about added fun on your Pixar Days at Sea sailing on the Disney Fantasy next spring.

I have a special fondness for the Fantasy. My family's first Disney Cruise Line adventure was on one of the Fantasy's inaugural sailings in 2012, and it opened a whole new world of cruising for us. We've been DCL fans ever since.

We especially love a Disney Cruise like the one you have booked that features a special theme, plus back-to-back days at Castaway Cay and Lookout Cay at Lighthouse Point.

I'm happy to tell you that your cruise will feature Disney's trademark Pirate Night with its pirate-themed dinner, special entertainment and fireworks at sea. The current schedule for your cruise has Pirate Nigh on the fourth evening, after your day at Lookout Cay at Lighthouse Point. Please note that schedules can change without notice.

My husband and I made our first stop at Lookout Cay earlier this summer, and we're eagerly looking forward to our next visit. Don't miss the Junkaroo celebration! And we always have a relaxing day in the sun on Castaway Cay.

The optional dress-up night for your cruise is scheduled for Night 3, after your visit to Castaway Cay. It truly is optional, but getting a little dressed up adds some flair to the evening, and it's a great time to pose for a family portrait on the grand staircase in the atrium lobby.

I hope that helps you plan your cruise schedule, Cindy. Please let us know if you have other questions about the Fantasy, the ports, the onboard activities, dining or Disney Cruise Line in general.

    Happy sailing,

    Wilma
