Ahoy, Greg!
Welcome aboard planDisney! A 5-night sailing on the Disney Fantasy with a double dip at
Castaway Cay and Lookout Cay? That’s the kind of itinerary that feels like you found a second star to the right and kept sailing straight on till morning. You’ve got a great trip ahead of you.
You’re absolutely on the right track wanting to plan ahead for those themed nights and the
Disney Cruise Line Navigator app will be your compass once you’re at the terminal and connected to the ship’s Wi-Fi. That’s where you’ll find the final, most up-to-date schedule since things can always shift a bit.
Now that we’ve got our bearings, here’s what is currently planned for your sailing:
Your optional dress-up night is set for Day 2, following your day in Nassau. This is one of my favorite evenings because there’s truly no “right” way to do it. Some Guests go all out, some keep it more relaxed, and a lot fall somewhere in between. It’s really about what makes your crew feel comfortable while still getting that classic cruise night feel. It’s also a great opportunity to grab those family photos that end up becoming favorites long after the cruise is over.
Pirate Night is currently planned for Day 4, after your day enjoying Castaway Cay. This is when the ship transforms into a full-on pirate celebration, complete with themed dinner menus, music, and plenty of opportunities to channel your inner Jack Sparrow or Captain Hook. My crew usually keeps it simple with matching pirate-themed shirts to save space in the suitcase, but you’ll definitely see everything from casual to full pirate regalia onboard.
Maybe I just have a soft spot for some Disney nostalgia, but I can’t help but recommend keeping an eye on your Navigator app for
Mickey’s Color Spin Dance Party. If it’s offered on your sailing, it’s the perfect journey through past and present Disney favorites and always a highlight that I don’t want to miss. Of course, it can vary, but it usually takes place around 7:30 PM on one of the evenings on the pool deck.
I hope this helps as you get everything lined up for
your Fantasy sailing. Having a game plan for those themed nights makes it that much easier to relax and just enjoy the experience once you’re onboard.
Sea ya real soon as springtime magic begins to ripple across the water,
Dustin
