Hello. We are booked for a 4 night disney cruise in August to the Bahamas. I have read that our birth certificates and Drivers Licenses will be sufficient. Is this correct? The port is Ft. Lauderdale, FL. Thank you

Ahoy there, Chad; welcome to planDisney!

Congratulations on booking your upcoming Disney Cruise Line vacation in August! I can only imagine all the fun you and your family will have, especially if your sailing travels will take you to Disney Lookout Cay at Lighthouse Point

That is correct; bringing your birth certificate and driver’s license is acceptable based on Disney Cruise Line’s Passport and Travel Documentation guidelines. According to the guidelines, you can use an original or copy of your state-issued birth certificate and a physical Government-issued photo ID for embarkation (please note that digital/mobile state-issued IDs are not acceptable to sail). Just be sure to have your documents in order, and you will be ready for an enchanting cruise.

If you have additional questions during this planning phase, be sure to reach out and let us know how we can help.

    Have a magical voyage!
