Welcome to planDisney, Kailyn! I'm so glad to be able to answer your question today and make sure that you're able to get the most out of your
Disney Dining Plan on your upcoming trip.
Dining plans are based on the number of nights you're staying at a
Walt Disney World Resort Hotel, not the number of days you have tickets for. Since you booked a one-night stay and added the
Quick-Service Dining Plan, each guest over the age of three on your reservation receives two quick-service meals, one snack, and a refillable resort mug. Even though the app may display the dining plan alongside your check-in date, your meals and snack are not limited to being used on that single day.
Here's how it works in practice: your dining plan becomes available on your check-in day and remains available through your check-out day. That means you can spread those meals and the snack across both dates, or use all of them on the same day if that fits your plans. The system keeps a running balance of what's left, so you can keep track of what you've used across the two days of your trip. If you want lunch and dinner on check-in day, and then pay for breakfast on check-out day out of pocket, totally fine. Prefer to save a meal and your snack for departure day? Also fine! Remember that you can keep track of your dining plan in the
My Disney Experience app, so you'll always know exactly how much delicious dining you've got left to do on your visit.
Have a magical day, Kailyn!
