Hello! When I booked my next trip fosr this October I did not add tickets to the reservation because we were unsure how many days we wanted to use. I am now not able to add tickets to the reservation without paying for them in full first. What can I do?

    Hiya, Denise! Welcome to planDisney!

There’s a lot that goes into planning a trip to The Most Magical Place on Earth, Denise! I can definitely understand booking in stages as your trip details start to materialize. I’m happy to help shed some light on adding theme park tickets to your vacation plans!

One way to upgrade your room-only reservation to a vacation package is to book a new package on the Walt Disney World Resort website. Once done, you can cancel your current booking. To do that, navigate to the “My Disney Experience” tab, and select “My Plans & Tickets,” which will be the first option in the dropdown menu. From here, under the “My Plans, Reservations and Tickets” heading, you should see your room-only reservation. Next to your confirmation number, you should see the option “Cancel Reservation” as a clickable link. From there, simply follow the prompts and you’ll be good to go!

If for whatever reason you don’t see that as an option, or if you prefer to have a Cast Member help you rebook, you can contact the Walt Disney World Resort directly. A friendly Cast Member will be more than happy to help you through this process and discuss any other potential options at your disposal.

You’ll be visiting Walt Disney World at a great time, Denise! There will be Halloween and fall decorations throughout the resort. Plus, the EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival will be in full swing. There will be plenty of delicious dishes and tasty sips to try at the Global Marketplaces! Plus, Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party is held on select nights in August through October. It’s a frightfully fun time and I highly recommend it!

I hope you’ve found this information helpful, Denise! We’re always here for you at planDisney if you have any other questions as you continue to plan your magical visit!

    See you real soon!
