    I booked the new Jingle Bell, Jingle Bam dessert party for December. I was wondering if anyone knows how it works. I will have an 8, 6, 2 and 1 year old at the time and was wondering if it may be a bad idea since the lady mentioned it is mostly standing.

    Hi Amanda!  Congratulations on getting a reservation to this new event in the Hollywood Studios. The "Jingle Bell, Jingle Bam" dessert party was just announced yesterday and guests kept the phone lines busy all day trying to get reservations. They booked up quickly and I was told that basically everything from November 17 into December was sold out by mid afternoon!

    I was able to grab one for my husband and me and we were given this information. Since the first party has not been held it is all we can go on at this time. Check in will be an hour and fifteen minutes before the show. The dessert party will begin an hour before the show. It is a small space with high top type tables and no seating but you will have the best view of the show once it begins. This show begins an hour after the dessert party begins and this time is different on different dates. Some nights the show will be at 9pm while other days it can be as early as 6:45.

    I would assume you will still be able to bring strollers into the area for your younger ones which will help. Consider bringing a towel or blanket for the other children to sit on during the wait time. I would hesitate to let your reservation go since you likely wouldn't be able to get it back due to the overwhelming demand. If light shows and such are highlights for the family then I would go ahead and try it. Blankets and sweets for the kids will make the hour go by so quickly!
