Hello Trevor,
As my pal Dug from Disney's "UP" would say, "I have just met you and I love you!" He may be just a bit dramatic, but I am sure he would approve of you booking a
Walt Disney World Resort vacation at the new Cabins at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort and bringing your canine companions along for the magic. From one Disney pet-lover to another, this sounds like a practically perfect vacation.
Please be advised that there is a limit of two dogs per cabin as well as certain
pet rules that you'll need to follow during your visit. Currently, the fee is $50 per pet, per night of your stay, but that amount may change at any time. You'll also want to make sure to call prior to your visit to ensure you let them know ahead of time you'll be bringing your dogs with you. You'll find the phone number to call as well as some more great pet information by selecting "Dog-Friendly Accommodations" on
The Cabins at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort overview page.
During your stay, I also recommend looking into Best Friends Pet Care if you have any long park days planned. They specialize in doggy daycare to give you some peace of mind while you enjoy the magic.
Autumn is my favorite time to visit the Walt Disney World Resort as well. There are so many special activities, such as
Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party and the
EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival presented by CORKCICLE®. I mean does it get any better than being able to watch Mickey's Boo-To-You Halloween Parade in Magic Kingdom Park one day and snack your way around the Global Marketplaces in EPCOT the next? I think not!
Thank you so much for sending me your question, Trevor. I hope you have an amazing time planning your trip and an even more magical time enjoying it. It seems like there have been several exciting announcements lately about fun experiences and upcoming things to look forward to, so if you have any other questions, please let
me know!
Magical Wishes,
Lauren H.
