I just booked my 2nd-ever Disney vacation for a 1 bedroom suite at Gr. Floridian. Are there any real differences (besides price) between the main building and the outer buildings? I've researched this, but can't really find anything out. THANKS!!

    Hi Amy!

Congratulations on booking your second Disney vacation! The Grand Floridian is a excellent choice! This  resort is a monorail stop away from the Magic Kingdom.  The main building has several suites, the monorail station, the lobby, several restaurants and the gift shop. The remaining resort rooms are located in the outer buildings, which aren't connected to the main building and you must use uncovered walkways.  No matter what you choose at the Grand Floridian, it's Disney, so I am sure it will be great! Check out this link to see the different room options.

Hope this helps! If I can assist you with any other planning questions, please feel free to send them to me!
