Ahoy there, Olivia! Welcome aboard, planDisney!
Your
Bahamian cruise aboard the beautiful
Disney Wish is almost here, woohoo! I bet that at this time you’re working on that
cruise packing list and last-minute plans, albeit all very exciting things! I know part of that last-minute preparation is getting those Port Adventure plans in order, so I would be happy to answer your questions regarding the Port Adventure you have reserved during your sailing.
First, I have to commend you on choosing such a cool
Port Adventure! A visit to a blue lagoon to swim with dolphins sounds like an absolute dream! You’re going to swim away with some stunning photos from this adventure!
Regarding your question about the return time in relation to your dinner time, in the Port Adventure description, it states that the 5 PM return time may affect the timing of the first dinner seating. Once the Port Adventure ends, you will take a 35-minute boat trip back to the cruise pier, where you will have about a 15-minute walk back to the ship.
Since it does say that the 5 PM return time may affect the first dinner seating at 5:45 PM, there is a possibility that it could. If this is a concern, my suggestion is to speak with the
Port Adventures Desk on the day you embark on the Disney Wish. They can go over the exact plan during your specific Port Day, including the detailed procedures for your return to the ship, and discuss any other possible return options, if there are any, as well as any other concerns you might have.
This might also involve a bit of pre-planning on your part, such as having clothing items ready to go and getting ready for dinner super quickly upon your return. But this is all part of the fun and makes for more of a magical adventure!
After speaking with the Port Adventures Desk, I also suggest speaking with your Dining Team the day before at your
Rotational Dining restaurant, and letting them know that you might be a bit late to dinner the next day. Depending on your arrival time, they might be able to take your dinner order the day before and have it ready when you arrive. While not guaranteed, it is worth mentioning to your Dining Team. But it depends on the arrival time suggested by the Port Adventures Desk and should be communicated to your Dining Team. I've been in scenarios before where, after communicating my timing concerns to my Dining Team, they were able to accommodate me. But again, each scenario is different, and thus, not a guarantee.
Finally, I suggest reading the “Know Before You Go” section of the Port Adventure description in detail, as it states many important things to note about this Port Adventure, such as swimming times, payment options, and further transportation notations.
Olivia, I hope that I was able to provide clarification. I WISH you the most magical memories on board your cruise, as well as during all your adventures ahead! Please sail back to planDisney if you have any more questions.
Seas the Adventure,
Rana
