    We booked a military room and now we are 2nd guessing our resort but all the other resorts are booked. Any tips on when to call and check for more inventory? Someone said they release on Tuesday afternoon. Any truth to that? Thanks

    Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, April!

    Mine is a military family too, and we’re so grateful for the fantastic special offers on resort hotel rooms and theme park tickets offered to service members at the Walt Disney World Resort. I know how special and important together time is for military families, and I’m so glad you’re planning some magical fun and relaxation at the Walt Disney World Resort this fall! 

    Discounted rates for stays at Walt Disney World Resort hotels are offered through December 19, 2019, but (as you've found) availability under this offer is limited. Cancelations do happen, so your best bet is to keep checking on availability by calling the Disney Reservations Center (407) 939-1936. I once got an amazing rate at Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort booking the night before, but, of course, that can be risky because room availability is not guaranteed, even without discounts. If you have any flexibility with your dates, that might help too. Also, I recommend checking on other Special Offers; on our last couple of visits, I’ve actually booked rooms under offers other than the military discount, because of more availability or better prices available. 

    April, you mention that you’re second-guessing your resort choice, and I truly believe that there are great things about every Walt Disney World Resort hotel.
