Hi Stephanie! How exciting that your Walt Disney World adventures are about to begin! I think it's a great idea that you have decided to give yourselves an extra day to get acclimated and enjoy
Disney's All-Star Music Resort. I always like to arrive a day before I plan to head into the theme parks so I can relax and enjoy some time at my resort. Be sure to check out the
uniquely themed pools at your resort for some fun in the Florida sun!
I'm happy to hear you will be taking advantage of the
Disney Dining Plan during your upcoming stay. My family loves the flexibility and convenience of using a
dining plan on our vacations. With so many unique dining options throughout Walt Disney World, eating can be just as much fun as riding a theme park attraction! When using a dining plan, you may begin using your credits on check-in day for your package. This means your credits will be available the morning of February 23, and you will need to pay for your meals on the previous day separately from your package.
Luckily, there is no shortage of dining options for your arrival day, Stephanie! Once you are situated and unpacked in your resort room, what better way to begin your vacation than with a celebratory meal? If you choose to remain at your resort, you will have a variety of choices at
Intermission Food Court. However, if you are excited to begin exploring more of Walt Disney World, my suggestion would be to get out and experience
Disney Springs for some unique shopping and dining. My favorite
dining choices here are
Raglan Road Irish Pub and Restaurant and
Chef Art Smith's Homcomin'. For waterside beverages and light snacks, I recommend
Jock Lindsey's Hangar Bar. Be sure to make
Advanced Dining Reservations once you decide on a restaurant. If you choose to dine at a quick-service location, try using
Mobile Food and Beverage Ordering. In my opinion, this is one of the best new features of the
My Disney Experience App.
Stephanie, I hope you have an exciting adventure next month at Walt Disney World!
Bon appétit!
Betsy
