Hi I booked mickeys backyard BBQ. My kids are 7 and 10. They have moved out of the character phase. Should I change my reservation. If so what would you suggest?

    Hi Eileen!

Mickey's Backyard BBQ is an is an all-you-care-to-eat Disney Character dance party with live country-western band at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground. My son and I went to Mickey's Backyard BBQ and we had a blast!   When we went, my son was too old to be into the characters, but he still had a great time.  If you are looking for something different than Mickey's Backyard BBQ then I would high recommend the Hoop Dee Doo Musical Revue which is located right at Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground as well.  Hoop Dee Doo Musical Revue is an incredible dinner show and it is my favorite dinner show because of the food, the fun, and the hilarious antics that go on there!   My son was 10 years old when I took him to this great show and he absolutely loved the Hoop Dee Doo Musical Revue.

I hope that your next Walt Disney World vacation is truly magical in every way!

    Keep Dreaming Big!
