Hi we have booked mickey's backyard bbq & aloha show using our dining credits, do we need to collect any tickets from anywhere and also do we need to get there early to queue? We're new to these activities Thanks

Hi Nicola! It looks like you have some great dining planned for your upcoming Walt Disney World vacation.

You will not need a special ticket for either of these two dinner shows. You simply need your reservation for each and as other restaurants they will redeem the credits it uses once you check in.

It is definitely best to check in and queue up early for the Mickey's Backyard Barbecue. The seating there is basically first come and we have found it is much better if you can be as close to the dance floor area as possible. This is especially true for the children. When you queue up there will be several characters coming out to entertain you and pose for photos so it is rather fun. Plus there are so many great things to enjoy in the Fort Wilderness area so it is nice if you come early. Visit the Disney stables located nearby and see the small museum and the large calliope that once participated in the Magic Kingdom parades. You can also see many of the large draft horses used in the parks and Cinderella's ponies.

I don't feel the need to queue up as early for the Aloha Show. When using the dining plan you will be seated in tier 2 and 3 areas. Everyone will have a good view of the show so no worries. Again though the Polynesian Resort is amazing and a fun place to walk around and see the sites of this resort so come early and wander for a bit.
