Hello, we are booked on a Mexican riviera cruise and I'm curious about how it works with toddlers (2 yes) and ground transportation in port (car seats). We likely won't choose to do any of the planned excursions but would rather explore on our own. Thanks!

    Hi Carly!

Congratulations on your upcoming Mexican Riviera Disney Cruise! Olé!

Disney Cruise Line offers ground transfers from Los Angeles International Airport to the Port of Los Angeles via motor coach. This service does not provide infant car seats, seat belts, and other restraints. However, you are certainly free to bring and use your own. Keep in mind that since there are no restraints to secure a car seat on the motor coach, this arrangement may have limited safety value. Unless you are planning to hire a car service, or rent your own vehicle, to transport your family from the airport to the Port of Los Angeles, I would recommend leaving the car seats at home. You'll be spared having to store them in your stateroom and glad for the extra space!

Since you plan on enjoying Mexican Riviera Ports of Call on your own, you'll want to have a double stroller for your toddlers. I suggest bringing a front-to-back stroller rather than a side-by-side stroller. Read why HERE. I hope this helps you plan a most magical Disney Cruise vacation. Please let me know if I can answer any other questions for you.

    Bon Voyage!
