Hi Stacie!
Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! I am so glad you sailed by with your question about your upcoming celebratory Disney Cruise Line vacation! What an accomplishment you will have met, and I can’t think of a more
FANTAStic way – or place – to celebrate! Be sure to note your reservation that you are celebrating a big accomplishment and stop by Guest Services for a celebratory button so that everyone onboard can celebrate with you!
First off, any Disney Cruise Line vacation is amazing in its own way, but I certainly love the
holiday-themed itineraries! The added decorations and Christmastime activities will only add to your voyage and make it extra memorable! And, 8-nights is the perfect amount of time to get settled, relax and enjoy it all! I love that a Disney Cruise Line vacation is pretty much what you make it - it can be low-key and fully relaxed with lots of time in the sun OR it can be busy with non-stop activities and doing it all! There will be so many things for you to choose from and do that you will be able to make it just what you want - or need - at that time!
The islands you will be visiting are full of incredible
Port Adventures to choose from – or you can simply catch a cab and head to the beach for another day in the sun! We will often start our days out with an excursion and are often left with extra time to continue to explore the port area on our own which is a great opportunity to get some souvenirs or enjoy some local cuisine! The Port Adventures team does a great job of finding the best of the best activities for Guests to experience while on land, so I do highly recommend exploring those options as your vacation approaches! If this is your first Disney Cruise Line vacation, you will be able to book those excursions when your voyage is 75-days away or you can even inquire about availability and book once onboard.
Stacie, I am so excited for you and the fun that awaits you – and I know you are already looking forward to celebrating your big accomplishment! As you continue planning, please come back with any other questions you may have!
Happy Sailing!
Stephanie
