Hi Ashton!
Welcome aboard the Disney Parks Moms Panel! Congratulations on booking your inaugural Disney Cruise! Choosing a Very Merrytime Cruise for your first voyage on the high seas is such a festive and fun choice! If your family loves everything Disney, you're going to fall in love with Disney Cruises! Sailing aboard Disney Cruise Line is always a magical experience, but sailing during the holiday season is extra special. Your sons will be excited the moment they step onboard and see the life-sized gingerbread house in the Lobby Atrium!
My first piece of advice is to pack their pirate attire! My favorite night during our Bahamian cruises is Pirate Night! Your buccaneers will love participating in all the pirate-themed fun throughout the night. The night concludes with a fireworks show and dance party at sea. The pool deck might be a popular spot for both boys too. Your smallest cruiser will enjoy the water play area while your 5-year old splashes in the pools! One of the things we love to do is watch a Disney movie under the stars on the Funnel Vision. I highly recommend getting bundled up in sweatshirts, grabbing a blanket and snacks from the pool deck and planning an evening under the stars together as a family. It's so much fun! I can't forget to mention
Disney's private island, Castaway Cay! It's a tropical paradise filled with fun for both kids!
Each day's schedule of activities will be listed on both the Personal Navigator newsletter and
Disney Cruise Line Navigator app. You will receive the newsletter each evening in your stateroom. I suggest downloading the app for your mobile device before setting sail!
Please come back and visit us again with any other questions as you continue planning for your inaugural voyage!
