I've booked 3 L. Mermaid rooms at AoA for our family including G-Parents & kids 6,5 and 3. After reading reviews,I'm worried the distance from LM rooms to buses maybe too much. Pop Century preferred rooms are comparable in price. Please give advice?

    Hi there!

Well, the new Art of Animation Resort is amazing!  I know your family would love staying there, but you have a very good question.

There is actually a website that studies the convenience of all the Disney Resorts, (www.yourfirstvisit.net)  They have ranked the resorts in order of convenience to the parks, etc.  They Art of Animation Resort and Disney's Pop Century Resort are both listed as convenient resorts because they don't share buses with other resorts and don't make as many stops as some resort buses.

Your point, though, is valid.  If you booked the standard Little Mermaid rooms, then your buildings will be a bit farther from the main building and the bus stops.  (the website says at least a 5-7 minute longer walk)  The Pop Century buses would be a bit more convenient to your room, so I would choose whatever suits your family's needs when you consider mobility, expected weather, etc.)

Both resorts are going to be a big hit with the kids!  You really can't make a bad choice!

Please let me know if you have any other questions!
