I've booked a Mermaid room at AoA for my family trip in April. I know there is no coffee maker in the room. I can't really take mine with me on the flight. Would they provide one for our room if I asked at the desk? I'd be willing to pay extra to have it.

    Hi there, Michelle!

It is likely that you can request a coffee maker for your Little Mermaid room in Disney's Art of Animation Resort, but there is no guarantee that based on demand or policy, your request will be able to be fulfilled.

Without actually bringing your coffee maker on the plane, I can offer you two alternatives:

1 - Purchase an inexpensive coffee maker and have it shipped down to your Resort in advance of your stay. When your trip is over, Cast Members can assist in sending it back to your home.

2 - Purchase the refillable Resort mug, and use that for complimentary refills on coffee, sodas, teas, etc. throughout your visit at the Resort.

While the in-room coffee maker is certainly a benefit, there is always a way to get that first cup of java in the morning!

    Have a wonderful trip!

    See you later, celebrator,
    -Deborah B.
