Ahoy there Rebecca, and welcome aboard planDisney!
I'm so glad that you've come to us to ask about your upcoming cruise on board the
Disney Wish; I recently disembarked from sailing on her for the first time and have so much to say about my experience as it compares to the
other sister ships in the fleet!
Now it seems that we're similar in the way that beyond all of the food to feast on and spectacular shows at sea, there really is nothing like taking advantage of a massage as a bit of a respite from the hustle and bustle on deck. On the first day, my husband and I ventured over to the
Senses Spa on Deck 5, Forward to take a tour and find out more about treatments as well as Rainforest access.
We discovered that unfortunately a pass must be purchased separately in order to enjoy the Rainforest amenities and does not come as a complimentary addition to any Spa treatments booked at this time. (Please note that policies on board are often subject to change without prior notice and may be at the discretion of the Spa Manager on your particular voyage!) We were informed that for our particular voyage, Rainforest passes were only available on a cruise-long basis for around $160 per person on top of any treatments; it's also important to note that this pricing is subject to change and may vary not only across the fleet but between voyages! The Crew Members also let us know that on occasion, certain voyages may allow guests to purchase a day pass and that it would be best to inquire about the pricing and availability for that particular cruise on the first day, as there is currently no way to determine in advance whether they will be offered.
While you await your scheduled massage time you'll be taken to a specially marked Relaxation Area within the changing room that has large wingback chairs and light refreshments, with complimentary access to a steam room and showers before you change into your robe to await your treatment. Personally, I think purchasing a Rainforest Pass is most worth it on longer itineraries, especially when you have varied sights to see out on the water; there's really nothing like watching whales between
Ports of call in Alaska or
drifting along the Panama Canal in the comfort of a hot tub.
Please come back to planDisney to
ask me any more questions you might have as you set out for more Disney Destinations, and be sure to connect with our Disney Cruise Line Specialists
Tracie and
Adrianna for more bits of nautical knowledge!
Wishing you waves of relaxation on your upcoming adventure at sea!
