Hi. have booked lots of character meals. Think my kids will be too excited to eat. Is there anyway I can hold the characters off until we have eaten, or only restrict to between courses.....I need bribery at the best of times lol. Thanks so much!!!

    Hi Kerri!

The characters follow a specific rotation when coming around the room (so that they don't lose track of where they've been).  You are absolutely welcome to speak with a Character Greeting Castmember (they have yellow and black and white outfits on) to ask them to skip your table.  I do, however, suggest against this, as sometimes it does get busy and because of the rotation (and timing of your meal) they may not make it back by.

In all honesty, my kids are highly distractible, but actually do rather well at character meals.  They hop up, greet, take pictures, get autographs, etc. and then the next minute they are saying good-bye and are back to eating.  They (and you) will get used to the flow once you've had the experience of having a few character meals under your belt, and there will be plenty of time to eat in between greetings.  I am also a stickler for eating good, balanced meals and I've not had any problems in our travels.  Sometimes a "Mickey loves his broccoli", or "I think Belle would love to know that you ate your pancakes" can work wonders too!

    Have a magical vacation!
