Hi! Just booked last minute trip (Sept 17-24) travelling with twin 2 year olds. On the quick service meal plan. What do we do for the third meal? Am I way too late to make reservations? Where do I begin? (We're staying at Coronado Springs) Thank you

    Jennifer:

The Quick-Service Plan provides two counter service meals and two snacks per adult per night of your stay.  You can either use the snacks for example at the breakfast counter near the Pepper Market at Coronado Springs or maximize the refrigerator in your room for breakfast foods you can pack or order for online delivery from www.gardengrocer.com and then leave the snack credits for a hefty afternoon snack in the parks.  Epcot has a stand where a baked potato is a snack credit!

Keep in mind that because your children are under 3, they will not have meal credits, so you will need to use your snack credits or order larger combo meals to have enough share.  I suggest ordering items like the chicken & ribs combo at Cosmic Rays in Magic Kingdom, the slab of ribs at Flame Tree BBQ in Animal Kingdom and the half chicken at Sunshine Seasons at Epcot to get the most meal for you credits.

As for reservations, you don't need them for counter service, but if you want to eat at a table service restaurant that isn't on the Quick Service Plan, I highly recommend reservations, especially because you'll be visiting during the free dining promotion Disney ran for guests who booked earlier in the summer.  If you can't get a reservation for the restaurant you want when you call the dining line at: 407-939-3463, just keep trying.  Cancellations happen every day!

    Wishing you a magical vacation!

My family of 6 appreciates Disney's value! Although Ft. Wilderness is our second home, we've enjoyed the resorts for business, reunions and romantic getaways. For me, Disney also means dining: last count, I'd eaten at 55 restaurants around the World! Learn More About Whitney
