Ahoy there, Amy, and welcome to planDisney! Last-minute adventures are some of my favorites, so let’s get straight to uncovering all the magic that awaits you at sea.
It sounds like you’ll have a spooktacular sailing on the Disney Wish that departs on Halloween. I don’t often see theme nights appear on the first night of an itinerary, but because embarkation day is the actual holiday on your 3-night
Halloween on the High Seas cruise, you’ll celebrate with both trick-or-treating and Mickey's Mousequerade Deck Party on Night 1.
Then, on your second night, after your day in Nassau, get ready to put on your pirate gear for
Pirate Night! Even some of your favorite Disney pals will be wearing their finest pirate garb around the ship, so keep a lookout on your
Disney Cruise Line Navigator app for when those
Character Greetings will take place. The Sanderson Sisters from Hocus Pocus (aka Minnie, Daisy, and Clarabelle Cow) are a favorite, so that line will fill up quickly! And, weather permitting, you’ll also get to see fireworks at sea after the Pirate’s Rockin’ Parlay Party on deck.
Your final evening is considered Cruise Casual, but since you won’t find a Formal Night on three-night sailings, many Guests will opt to dress up on this night. It’s also a wonderful opportunity to snap some professional pictures in the
Grand Hall before dinner. I recommend purchasing the
Unlimited Digital Photo Package before setting sail so you secure the best price and ensure you capture all your favorite memories onboard.
I know your trip is just around the riverbend, Amy, but should you think of any other questions before embarkation day, I hope you’ll head back to us here at
planDIsney!
Bon voyage,
Sami
