Maire from London Asked Please note that experiences, policies, pricing and other offerings are subject to change and may have changed since the date of this answer.

I’ve booked last minute holiday and want to visit only magic kingdom for one day but I can’t seem to book for only one day, I keep searching, not sure what I’m doing wrong! Please help as I can see dates are limited for when I come.

    Hi Maire, welcome to planDisney!

I admire your desire to chase the wind and touch the sky with a last-minute visit to Walt Disney World Resort. The World's Most Magical Celebration is delighting Guests of all ages and stages with EARidescent eats, beloved attractions, and Beacons of Magic.

I'm so sorry to have to tell you that UK-based Guests are not currently able to buy one-day theme park tickets from the Walt Disney Travel Company. The current options are 7 or 14-day Magic Tickets, which do not appear to match your heart's desire.

If your travel dates are set, I recommend checking the Theme Park Availability Calendar as soon as you land in the United States to see if any park availability exists for your desired date. At this exact moment, EPCOT is the only park with availability on April 29, though park availability is known to open up as Guests continue to tweak their itineraries. If EPCOT remains the only theme park with availability, one option is to purchase a one-day theme park ticket with the Park Hopper Option from Disneyworld.disney.go.com. Immediately make a theme park reservation for EPCOT via the Park Pass reservation system, then enjoy a morning at the EPCOT International Flower and Garden Festival before driving or taking the monorail over to Magic Kingdom park when park hopping hours begin at 2:00 p.m. Magic Kingdom is open until 11:00 p.m. on April 29, which gives you a full eight hours of Magic Kingdom magic.

In case all four theme parks are booked by the time you arrive, Maire, Disney magic without a theme park reservation can be found at Disney's Typhoon Lagoon Water Park and Disney Springs. I recently had the pleasure of experiencing Drawn to Life presented by Cirque du Soleil and Disney at Disney Springs and it was a beautiful combination of Disney storytelling and incredible acts of physical art.

With a little faith, trust, and pixie dust, I know Disney magic will find its way to your last-minute holiday, Maire. Please return to planDisney with any other trip-planning questions.

    Choose magic,
    Jennifer
