HI we just booked a very last minute first trip to Disney with my 2 year old daughter. We will be there for Thanksgiving. She is in love with Sofia, Minnie and the princesses. Any recommendations for reservations for dining with the princesses and Minnie?

Congrats, Sharlene, on the spur of the moment trip to Walt Disney World! Sometimes those surprise trips are the best.

I will warn you that Thanksgiving is a very popular time to travel there and many popular dining reservations will book up as quickly as 180 days out. However, it wouldn't hurt to try. You never know when there will be cancellations.

For princess dining, there is Cinderella's Royal Table,  Akershus in Norway at Epcot and the Happily Ever After Dinner at 1900 Park Fare with Cinderella. Minnie is available at Cape May Cafe in Disney's Beach Club or Chef Mickey's at Disney's Contemporary Resort. While Sofia is not part of the Play 'n Dine Character Meal at Hollywood and Vine in Disney's Hollywood Studios, she does have a meet and greet there at the Studios near the Disney Junior - Live on Stage show.

Speaking of meet and greets, even if you aren't able to snag a character meal, doesn't mean you won't have the opportunity to meet these beloved characters. Minnie is available in Pete's Silly Side Show in Fantasyland as well as the Character Spot in Epcot. The newly opened Fairy Tale Hall in  Fantasyland is a great place to meet several princesses. You can often find a few of them in various countries around Epcot, too!

So, good luck and have a blessed holiday!
