Welcome aboard, Karina!
Land and sea vacations are my favorite getaway trips for my family. I am so excited that you'll be spending this special time with your 3 grandkids. There is something for everyone in a Disney family vacation at the Parks and most especially on the Disney Cruise. You guys will all have a blast!
My family enjoys spending a few days at the Parks before going on a cruise as well. Your senses will be on hyperdrive while you are at the parks, so it's nice to sail away with Captain Mickey afterwards, to allow some relaxation and pampering fun! The awesome activities don't stop - so not to worry... the magic continues and you and the kids will have a wonderful time.
Our top choice is still the
Magic Kingdom for our family day at the parks. A Disney World vacation is not complete without an epic family picture by the Cinderella Castle. The choices of rides and attractions are bountiful, and i'm sure your 4, 13 and 16 year old buccaneers will have plenty to do. You might even want to spend more than a day there - there is just so much to see and do! The newest attractions, Seven Dwarfs Mine Train, as well as the awesome new Festival of Fantasy Parade, are all in the Magic Kingdom. I would put these on the must-do list amongst a few others while at the park.
Let us know if your grandkids might have other interests and we can suggest other attractions & activities. I hope this helps in planning your upcoming vacation.
Have a magical day!
