Julie from CA Asked Please note that experiences, policies, pricing and other offerings are subject to change and may have changed since the date of this answer.

I just booked June 12-21, paid for park hopper do we still need to make daily reservations for a specific park? If so, I’d rather not have picked and payed extra for the park hopper. Also, where can I find the early morning opening for hotel guests?

    Welcome to planDisney, Julie!

Your magical vacation to Walt Disney World Resort is just a few months away! I’m sure you’re eagerly counting down the days until you’re strolling the streets with Mickey and his pals!

The Park Hopper Option for tickets is a great tool for Guests to use! I used the Park Hopper Option on my tickets when I visited with my family in January, and it was incredible! Though things look a little different right now, I think you’re still going to enjoy the flexibility that the Park Hopper Option will bring you!

Here is how the Park Hopper Option currently works:

-Make a Disney Park Pass Reservation for the first theme park you would like to visit for each day.
-Confirm Park Hopper hours on the Walt Disney World Resort website or the My Disney Experience Mobile App... Park Hopper hours will begin at 2pm each day and end at that theme park’s closing. (Park Hopper hours could start earlier depending on the park and the day.)
-Once you begin your vacation, you’ll visit the park at which you made your Disney Park Pass Reservation each day!
-Then, when Park Hopper hours begin, visit your next theme park!

Remember: The ability for you to Park Hop will be based on the park’s capacity limitations, so be sure to stay flexible! You can visit the Walt Disney World Park Hopper Option article on the Disney Parks Blog for additional information!

The benefit of Extra Magic Hours for Walt Disney World Resort Guests was suspended when the theme parks reopened last year. As Walt Disney World continues to manage attendance with health, safety, and wellness in mind, we are unsure of when Extra Magic Hours will return. Keep your eye on the Disney Parks Blog for additional information as you near your vacation, as things are ever-changing at Walt Disney World. You’ll be happy to know, though, that the turnstiles for the theme parks typically begin admitting Guests about an hour before the theme park’s posted opening time! So if you’d like to roam the streets, grab some eats, and be the first in line for attractions, an early arrival at the theme parks may be a great option for you!

We hope your vacation is memorable, Julie! If you have additional questions before your trip this summer, we’d love to hear from you again at planDisney!
