We are booked for the July 9 2011 Med 11 Night cruise on the Magic. Can you tell me what the dress up theme will be and if there will be more than one night of dress up? Also, any advice for beating jet lag with a 4 & 6 yr old. We fly red eye JFK-BCL.

    Hi Eric!

The longest Disney Cruise that I have been on is a four night cruise on the Disney Dream so I don't know the answer to your question, but I have some wonderful fellow Moms who have been on Disney Cruises like this.  So I asked my fellow Moms and here is what they had to say:

Emma N. said, that she did that exact cruise last May and there was one formal dinner and one semi-formal dinner.  For the formal evening, the dinner menu/theme was Prince and Princess (the night Twice Charmed was shown in the Walt Disney Theater) and for the semi-formal evening, the dinner menu/theme was Villains (the night Villains tonight was shown in the Walt Disney Theater). There was also a Cruise Casual/Pirate dinner on Pirates in the Caribbean night.

Andi S. said to make sure that you check out www.DisneyCruise.com for lots of information and tips.  Also you can ask Mom, Andi S a Cruise question directly by clicking here and then clicking on ask Andi a question.

Also Mom Kim L. has lots of experience on Disney Cruises with her family and she can give you insight on traveling and cruising with young children.  You can ask Mom, Kim L. a question directly by clicking here and then clicking on ask Kim a question.

I hope that you have an amazing cruise with your family on the Magic this July!

    Keep Dreaming Big!
