Ahoy there, Gina and thank you for cruising to us at planDisney with your question! My pals and I are here and happy to help our fellow guests chart a course for adventure with the Disney Cruise Line.
You've got an adventure ahead on the horizon this July! I understand that traveling with little ones requires some extra planning, and Captains Mickey and Minnie do too! While there are
several accommodations for little ones in your sailing party that are currently available, the
"it's a small world" nursery! is indeed still closed at this current time. Gina, I know that the Disney Cruise Line wants to provide this wonderful option for their guests as soon as possible. While I don't have an opening date to share, I'm hopeful that it will be returning in the near future.
I recommend that you know which date your cruise fare is due to be paid in full and that you understand Disney Cruise Line's
current cancellation policy. If you decide that you'd like to cancel your reservation and book a cruise for a later date, you will be subject to the cancellation policy in regards to the terms of your booking.
If you have further concerns,
please reach out to a Guest Services agent at Disney Cruise Line to speak with them directly. I'm wishing upon a star that the nursery will resume operations soon and that you'll be able to cruise in July on the
Disney Fantasy with all of the amenities that you'd like to experience.
I'd love to recommend that you plan to throw a swimsuit in your carry-on luggage for you and your little one to enjoy splashing around at Nemo's Reef shortly after boarding. It's the perfect way to start your cruise off with a splash after a morning of travel to the port. If you'll be visiting
Castaway Cay, be sure to look for the Spring-A-Leak splash area on the island. It's the best place to play with younger sailors and was a huge hit for my toddlers.
I wish for good news, smooth sailing, and a vacation to remember! Please visit us at planDisney again if you have any further questions. It's our pleasure to help.
Happy Sailing,
Adrianna
