Hi Ashley and welcome back to planDisney! It sounds like you’re feeling
Inspired by using the benefits of your new
Disney Visa Card for an upcoming
Walt Disney World stay, so let’s dive into your question!
According to the Disney Inspire website, qualifying purchases for the 200 Disney Rewards Dollars are for U.S. Disney Resort purchases made DIRECTLY with Disney (including through Disney operated websites, apps or call centers) for Walt Disney World Resort hotels and other select Disney Resort locations. So, it sounds like transferring or canceling and rebooking with a travel agent will no longer make your Resort hotel stay a qualifying purchase. You may want to
contact Disney Visa just to verify this information. In addition, you may have to wait 6 to 8 weeks until after your Qualifying Purchase to post to your account in order to receive your Disney Rewards Dollars.
Ashley, don’t forget that with your Disney Visa Inspire Card
you have some great perks for a Walt Disney World visit! For example, there’s a unique photo opportunity with Stitch at Disney’s Hollywood Studios. One of my favorite benefits (an Inspire Card exclusive) is the credit for purchases of Walt Disney World theme park tickets and annual passes!
I know this information may not have been what you wanted to hear, but I am wishing that you have a wonderful trip to Walt Disney World this upcoming May. Don’t forget to check out the
International Flower & Garden Festival still underway at EPCOT! There’s nothing better than enjoying an afternoon walk snacking at some of the outdoor kitchens while snapping some pictures with the topiaries (my favorite is the Snow White and Seven Dwarfs topiaries!). If you have any further questions about your upcoming Disney vacation, please do not hesitate to
contact me and my fellow panelists here at planDisney!
Your pal,
Sean
