I have booked my hotel and purchased our park tickets, how far in advance can i book the park reservations? MDE says future plans. not "my plans"

    Hiya Sandra!

Welcome to planDisney and thank you so much for sending us your question! I always love answering questions from fellow Canadians and I cannot wait for you to come and experience the magic of The World's Most Magical Celebration! Plus, you will get there just in time for the EPCOT International Flower and Garden Festival - my favourite. Make sure to plan a day at EPCOT to explore the festival, I can promise that it will grow on you!

Now let's talk about My Disney Experience and making theme park reservations. You are right that there is a "My Plans" and a "Future Plans" section and it can definitely get confusing! The main difference between the two is that the My Disney Experience website has a "My Plans" tab while the My Disney Experience mobile app instead has a "Future Plans" section, but they have very similar functionalities. To make your theme park reservations, however, you would either hover your cursor over the "Parks & Tickets" tab and click on "Theme Park Reservations" on the website, or click on the plus sign and then on "Make a Park Reservation." Either way, you will have to select the type of theme park admission that you have (i.e. tickets or an annual pass) and you will then be able to select the day and park of your choice! Make sure that you have linked your theme park admission to your My Disney Experience account, otherwise, you will not be able to make reservations!

In regards to making your theme park reservations in advance, theme park reservations are currently available until January 2023 exclusively, but it also depends on the type of admission that you are using. For example, I can only make theme park reservations as far as the date of expiration of my Annual Pass, but a guest with a regular theme park ticket would be able to make them as far as December 2022.

I hope this was helpful, Sandra, and that you have the most wonderful time on your upcoming Disney vacation. If you have any other questions in the time leading up to your vacation, please don't hesitate to reach out! After all, we are best buds now!

    Have a magical dai-sy,

    Ariane
