Welcome to planDisney, Julissa! I'm always excited to see another guest from Louisiana headed to the Most Magical Place on Earth, and combining the magic of Disney with the magic of dance is sure to be a winning combo for you this weekend!
Julissa, it looks like you'll be attending the UDA National Dance Team Championship at the
ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex, so I was able to find the event information guide on Varsity's website to verify what you'll need to do once you arrive to your Disney Resort hotel for check-in! According to the guide, you will go to your resort's front desk upon arrival to get your room keys and verify your check-in. If you have already linked your resort reservation to your
My Disney Experience account, you may also be able to complete the
Online Check-In to streamline the process. Remember that check-in time is 4 PM, so if you arrive before then, your room may not be ready yet. If this is the case, you are welcome to leave your luggage with
Bell Services and explore the resort amenities or head over to
Disney Springs or one of the theme parks using your theme park tickets (remember that these tickets do require you to make
Theme Park Reservations in advance).
Julissa, I do have a few other tips that might help to ensure you have everything you need:
- If you registered for the hotel travel package separately from the team (as friends and family) , you should have received an email with a link to sign up for a registration time. This is where you will receive your lanyard and nametag credentials as well as wristbands for Friday Extended Hours at EPCOT (included in the package) and wristbands for the Celebration Party on Sunday night at Disney's Hollywood Studios (if purchased).
- Each Disney Resort hotel has a registration location on site to make this process easy - at Disney's All-Star Resorts, you'll visit Celebrity Hall between All-Star Sports and All-Star Music Resorts, and at Disney's Coronado Springs Resort, you'll visit the Convention Center.
Julissa, I hope this is helpful! With so much excitement on the horizon, I'm wishing you a magical vacation and a winning routine! If you have any other questions before your arrival, come on back and
let me know!
See you real soon,
Alison
