Hello, we have booked a hotel and flights from the Uk from April but I am confused at how to buy tickets and make reservations for the parks. Is there a step by step guide? Thank you so much!

    Hi there, Sheila!

Thanks for stopping by planDisney! April is a wonderful time of year to visit Disneyland Resort. The springtime weather is usually pleasant, and there are multiple special events taking place. The Disney California Adventure Food & Wine Festival continues through April 22, 2024, and Season of the Force, a Star Wars celebration, is happening from April 5 through June 2, 2024. Make sure to ride Space Mountain when it is transformed into Hyperspace Mountain!

Since you already booked your hotel and flights, your next step is to purchase your theme park tickets on the Disneyland website. The page walks you through each step to both purchase your tickets and make your park reservations. First, select your ticket type, which will most likely be a "standard ticket" unless there is a special ticket offer that applies to your family. After that, select the number of days and then the number of adult and child tickets. Next, choose either "one park per day" or a Park Hopper ticket. I always purchase Park Hopper tickets because I like having the flexibility to visit both theme parks each day. I often start the day in one theme park and spend my evening in the other park to eat dinner and watch a Nighttime Spectacular.

When you hit continue, you will be taken to the theme park reservation calendar where you will select your dates. You will then select which park you want to start each day in (this is the park reservation process). I usually alternate the parks each day of my visit. After that, you will complete the purchasing process.

Dining reservations can be made up to 60 days in advance. I suggest reviewing the list of dining locations to see if you want to make any plans for meals. Table-service restaurants are very popular at Disneyland, so I suggest making reservations as soon as they become available. I love the Brussels Caesar and Lobster Nachos (when available) at Lamplight Lounge; the character brunch at Storyteller's Cafe; and the ambiance at Blue Bayou Restaurant

Sheila, have a wonderful trip to Disneyland Resort! Feel free to contact us again if. you have more questions.
