Hi, there!
Marianne, I am so excited to hear you'll be visiting the
Walt Disney World Resort this fall. It's the perfect time to join in on "The World's Most Magical Celebration!" This special event to celebrate the
Walt Disney World Resort's 50th anniversary kicks off on October 1, just days before your arrival. What a treat!
I just made my family's
Theme Park Reservations for our upcoming vacation. I'm happy to walk you through the booking process! If you haven't already
set up a My Disney Experience account and linked your Disney Resort hotel and your Theme Park Tickets, that's your first step. To create an account, click on the My Disney Experience tab you'll see along the top of the
Walt Disney World Resort homepage. When you click on that tab, click "Create Account" at the bottom of the white sign-in box that appears. Once you're all set up and logged in, you'll need to link your Disney Resort hotel reservation and Theme Park Tickets to your account. Scroll down the page that says "Marianne's Plans and Tickets." You'll see a blue icon that says, "Resort Hotel." If you hover over that icon, a blue button will appear that says, "Link a Reservation." Click that link to add your vacation package confirmation number. That number can be found in the email confirmation you received shortly after booking. Since you booked a vacation package, your Theme Park Tickets should automatically link to your My Disney Experience account along with your Disney Resort hotel reservation.
Do we have you logged in to your My Disney Experience account now? I certainly hope so! If you hover over the "My Disney Experience" tab on the Walt Disney World Resort homepage, you'll see a drop-down menu. Select "Disney Park Pass System" from the menu. Then click on the white button underneath the banner that says, "Make a Park Reservation." First, you'll create your party by selecting anyone in your travel party who will be joining you in the theme parks. Next, click the blue "Continue" button in the bottom right corner of your screen. Then you can select a date and a park in which to make a reservation! After you've made your Theme Park Reservations, you'll be able to view them on the planning page of your My Disney Experience account.
If you experience any difficulty or if this just feels overwhelming to you, I encourage you to call the
My Disney Experience Team at (407) 939-4357. A friendly Cast Member there will be delighted to assist you! Any time I've experienced technical difficulty, a Cast Member has gotten it sorted out for me in no time at all.
Thanks for stopping by planDisney, Marianne. Please visit us again soon with any new questions you may have about your Walt Disney World Resort vacation! We'd love to help you plan a magical stay.
