Hello Rachel,
Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! Your trip to the Walt Disney World Resort is just around the corner; your family must be so excited! The first thing I would suggest is to purchase
Park Hopper Option Tickets if your budget allows. During my family's many visits, we have loved having the flexibility that a Park Hopper Ticket provides. You can start your day at one Theme Park, head back to your Resort Hotel for a nap or pool time, and then end the day at any other Theme Park that you wish to. With the Park Hopper Option Ticket, you can visit all of the Theme Parks without having to choose between them.
The two Theme Parks that are an absolute "must-do" for my family when we visit are
Magic Kingdom Park and
Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park. So, if you need to choose between the Theme Parks then, these two are on the top of my list and are perfect for the ages of your children.
A trip to the Walt Disney World Resort would not be complete without a walk down Main Street, U.S.A. or viewing Wishes nighttime spectacular in Magic Kingdom Park. I also recommend making FastPass+ Reservations for Seven Dwarves Mine Train, Big Thunder Mountain Railroad, and Pirates of The Caribbean. Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park is beautiful, and there are a lot of Attractions and plenty of Entertainment that your entire family will enjoy. I suggest making FastPass+ Reservations for Kilimanjaro Safaris and Festival of the Lion King. My family also enjoys Conservation Station at Rafiki's Planet Watch, Finding Nemo - The Musical, and Pangani Forest Exploration Trail.
I hope these suggestions help you to make the most out of your Walt Disney World Resort vacation!
Magical Wishes,
Susan
