    Hi, we have just booked for our honeymoon in Oct 2022. We want to make the most of our time in Disney and make it truly special. Can you tell us more about Genie + and the lightning lane? When will it be available and can we add it to our existing tickets?

    Hi there, Siobhan! Welcome back to planDisney, and congratulations on your upcoming wedding! I love to hear that you’re planning for the best honeymoon ever! Disney Genie service will help you accomplish just that! The service is not yet available but will be by the time you visit. I’m happy to share and help explain what we know so far!

    For starters, complimentary Disney Genie service will be available starting this fall for all guests. This will allow customized itinerary planning in advance and predictive wait times based on expected crowds and patterns. You do not need to add the service to your existing Tickets, as this will happen automatically. This will allow you to plan your Disney days like never before! To maximize your honeymoon plans, you will want to consider Disney Genie+ and Additional Selections. Disney Genie+ will allow you to choose among many popular attractions, one at a time, beginning at 7 am if staying on property at a Disney Resorts Collection hotel! When you choose an attraction with Disney Genie+, you will then be able to hop to the front of the line via Lightning Lane, which is a lot like the prior FastPass+ lane. In addition, a few select experiences will be available for purchase via Additional Selections. Each Guest can purchase up to two experiences per day and access these via Lightning Lane! 

    With the combination of these two new features, in addition to the information available via Disney Genie, you will surely have the best possible honeymoon! Disney Genie will make customizing your plans incredibly easy and will lead to more spontaneity during your vacation! Knowing that you will be able to experience your top attractions, plus make choices on the go, makes the whole experience even more special, in my opinion! 

    As honeymooners, be sure that you visit Guest Services to obtain a complimentary pin to commemorate the special occasion! Plus, consider a surprise from Disney Floral & Gifts to commemorate your special trip. Lastly, Memory Maker will allow you to keep every image and video captured during your adventures, as I know this will be a trip you will want to cherish forever!.
