We have just booked our holiday for December 2027, we are travelling from the UK, when I rang Disney to book the holiday, the customer service advisor stated that international guests can't book enchanted extras before arrival?

Well, hello, Kelly! Thanks for reaching back out to us here at planDisney!

The bountiful experiences from the Enchanting Extras Collection can create some of the most magical memories during a vacation to the Walt Disney World Resort. Much like Living with the Land invites Guests on a voyage of discovery and awareness, these experiences offer a deeper look at the stories and details that make the parks so special. While I certainly haven’t done them all, the ones I have experienced have been nothing short of amazing. I particularly enjoyed the Spice Road Table Fireworks Dining Package, the Behind the Seeds Tour, and what I consider the crème de la crème: Disney's Keys to the Kingdom Tour. Are these experiences necessary to enjoy your time? Certainly not. But I find they enhance the magic, especially if you’ve visited the resort before. Talk about innovative ways to explore!

Currently, our friends from the UK cannot book Enchanting Extras through the website until they are in the United States and have access to the U.S. version of the site. However, some UK Guests have reported success booking these extras through the virtual chat option. Just note that the booking window opens 60 days before your check-in date at your Disney Resorts Collection Hotel for up to 10 days of your vacation, or 60 days before the date you’d like to enjoy the experience if you’re staying at a non-Disney-owned hotel.

Now, I’m not sure if you’ve visited the resort during the holidays before, but one gem of an experience is the holiday overlay of Living with the Land. This overlay, called Glimmering Greenhouses, transforms the attraction into a sparkling celebration of the season. It's almost like nature’s own new beginning in the cycle of life. Try to board the attraction after dark so you can really see the lights shine. There’s typically a Glimmering Greenhouses version of the Behind the Seeds Tour as well to help you get up close and personal with this unique offering. This experience is definitely on my bucket list! Just make sure to follow the Disney Parks Blog to ensure these experiences are offered again when you're visiting.

Kelly, best wishes as you book all your desired experiences. If you have any other questions, please don’t hesitate to reach out. We’d love to help make your next vacation sparkle!

Here's to truly living with the magic,
    Matt
