Hi Eboni!
Thanks for stopping by with your question about my FAVORITE event of the year,
Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party!
The party, held on select nights in Walt Disney World Resort's Magic Kingdom Park, is a superbly spooktacular event for kids of all ages. (I'm talking about myself here - where else can I trick-or-treat without getting strange looks? At the party, adults can trick-or-treat too, and they give out the GOOD candy!)
In past years, Guests who booked the Happy HalloWishes Dessert Party would view Mickey's "Boo To You" Halloween Parade from a reserved viewing spot, then dine on a fabulous array of Halloween-themed desserts before watching the Happy HalloWishes Fireworks from a "to-die-for" private viewing location.
With the newly released dates and information for 2017, it looks as though the party includes the private dessert party with a bewitching buffet of treats and drinks, and a reserved VIP viewing area for the Happy HalloWishes Fireworks, but unfortunately no longer includes the reserved parade viewing area earlier in the evening.
No worries! There are lots of great spots to watch Mickey's Boo-To-You Parade, and it's typically offered twice on Halloween Party evenings. My favorite part of the Boo-To-You parade is the appearance of the Headless Horseman, around ten minutes before the parade begins (weather permitting). He rides a majestic black horse, and carries his jack-o-lantern head high in the air - it's quite the spooky sight!
Another "must-do" at Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party is the Hocus Pocus Villain Spelltacular. The performers are incredible, and it's one of the best live shows I've ever seen performed at the theme parks! There are usually several show times during each party (and I often try to watch more than one!).
I hope this helps answer your question - have a magical day, Eboni! - Diane W.
