    Hi! I’ve booked a half day cabana at the Grand several times, and it is always the highlight of our trip! This trip we are thinking of splurging for a full day, how much of a price difference is it? Are there advantages to the full day versus a half-day?

    I love that you are considering booking a poolside cabana during your upcoming Disneyland Resort vacation. I can't think of a better way to celebrate the start of summer! Since it sounds like you have had prior experience booking a poolside cabana experience, I'll briefly summarize the booking process. You'll want to call hotel Guest Services at Disney's Grand Californian Hotel & Spa (select option '5') and request the date and time of your reservation, along with a valid credit card at the time of booking. This will only be charged in the event of a no-show, and as you might already be aware, reservations are subject to change or cancellation due to inclement weather.

    Sarah, pricing for half-day and full-day cabana rentals can change depending on the season, so I would recommend calling to speak with a Cast Member directly to get a quote that is most accurate for your visit dates. The cabana rentals have the same benefits whether you choose to book for a half-day or full-day rental: lounge seating for 6, cable television and a safe for your belongings, a complimentary fruit platter and water bottles, dedicated towel service, and a friendly cabana server to help place your food and beverage orders. When my family rented a poolside cabana at Disney's Grand Californian Hotel & Spa last year, we found that the price of the full-day reservation was less than twice the cost of a half-day rental, so our group found enough value to move forward with a full day of fun in the sun (or shade)! It made for a lovely rest day in the middle of our trip, and my kids still talk about it as one of their favorite family vacation moments!
