    I booked a great deal at POR and got my tickets, FL residents discount. My question is can I purchase Disney gift cards in advance and use them for all our dining and gift purchases or are there exclusions. I would like to pay as much as possible up front.

    You can certainly use the Disney Gift Card for most of your purchases at Walt Disney World.  There might be a few random food carts/vendors that cannot take the Disney Gift Card, but you will find the vast majority of gift shops and restaurants are happy to accept them. 

    I always buy my Disney Gift Cards ahead of time at my local grocery store.  It is a great way to save for my trip!  I buy each of my kids their own cards, and that is what they have to spend for souvenirs so it keeps everyone on their own budget!
