I booked a grand gathering for 11, but I am having a hard time finding charater or table service dining. Does anyone have any suggestions?

Large groups can especially be difficult when booking dining reservations.  We have traveled with as many as 16 people in our family group in the past and we opted to book dining with several different table configurations where we would be split up.  This actually worked out better then we thought.  As soon as we knew the number of tables and how many at each we would draw names and that is how we were seated.  It provided lots of fun and excitement and anticipation for every meal and was a great way to communicate with everyone at sometime during the vacation!

Try to get reservations at some of the more unique places such as Marrakesh in the Morocco pavilion in EPCOT. The food and service is wonderful and because it sounds a bit different then what we are used to you often can get a last minute reservation here. My family loves this restaurant!

If you can't book a character meal remember there are many other possibilities to see the various Disney characters through-out the parks.  Stop by Guest Services and ask to see where the characters are going to appear for meet and greets the day you are in the park.  Sometimes this ends up being a more relaxed way to get those great pictures and autographs!
