Nicola from England Asked Please note that experiences, policies, pricing and other offerings are subject to change and may have changed since the date of this answer.

I have booked to go single to Disneyworld next September, but I want to add a friend onto my booking, can they just be added to my room or will they have to pay extra to stay in my room with me? As I would be paying the full price anyway saves Them money.

Hey there Nicola and welcome to planDisney!

I've said it before and I'll say it again. September is my favorite time to visit the Walt Disney World Resort. The whimsy and magic of pumpkin spice and possibilities always make me feel so happy! I'm so happy that your solo trip has turned into a dynamic duo excursion. Let's get y'all started.

I'm so happy to be able to tell you that pricing for your Disney Resorts Collection hotel actually already includes the cost of 2 adults over the age of 18. So your friend is welcome to join you at no additional room cost. They'll just need to pay the cost of Theme Park Tickets. Be sure you both grab those tickets and snag some Theme Park Reservations via the Disney Park Pass System to be able to frolic together through the parks in fall bliss.

Pro-tip: Consider getting some tickets to Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party. It's just as fun for an adults-only travel party as it is for those with children. Feed your inner children all the candy they can eat and catch the Hocus Pocus Villain Spelltacular. Make memories that will keep you and your friend smiling for years to come.

Nicola, you're incredibly thoughtful and your friend is lucky to have you. I know the two of you are going to have an amazing time. If you see me with my bag full of candy and in full costume at the party, make sure to stop and say hello!

    Happy planning!
