I have booked to go on the disney dream next year. im confused about the gratuities beacuse we dont tend to tip in england. the guide for tipping says per person, does that include children because my children will be 6 and 3. thank you

    Hi Jenna,

I'd be happy to help you with gratuities. First, congratulations on booking a cruise aboard the beautiful Disney Dream ship!

Visit the above link to see suggested gratuities for the length of your cruise. Tipping aboard a Disney Cruise Line should be per person including children. You'll find that the level of service granted to all members of your party is exemplary.

Children are well taken care of at meal times, in the stateroom and at youth activities. In your stateroom, the host/hostess will make sure beds are prepared each night in the manner that best suits each child. My son always travels with some favored stuffed animals and they are always waiting for him on his cabin bed with chocolates. The turn down service at night is wonderful!

In the dining rooms, servers will quickly learn what foods and beverages your children prefer. Many times, a child's beverage will be already waiting on the table upon arrival!

There are many occasions in which tipping seems unwarranted but aboard a Disney cruise ship, I've always felt that the gratuities were well-earned. In fact, many cruisers even tip more than the suggested amounts due to the excellent service received.

    Enjoy a memorable voyage!
