Hi Moms! We're booked to go to CBR in Oct 2016 (so excited) we've requested an accessible room for my Mum but I'm wondering if I should also pay for preferred rooms? Mum uses an ECV, my older son has ASD and mother in law is having knee replacement soon.

Hello Natasha and thank you for bringing such a great question to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.
I'm thrilled to know you've booked a magical stay at the totally tropical Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort for October 2016 and I can just imagine how excited you are!
You've already made a really great decision by requesting an accessible resort room to accommodate your families needs, be assured that although resort room requests can never be guaranteed Cast Members will always endeavour to help wherever they are able.  My top tip is to reiterate your request by speaking with a Cast Member at Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort around 1 week before you are due to check-in.  Be sure to have your booking confirmation number to hand and you will find the direct dial telephone number in my previous link.
Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort comprises of 6 pretty pastel coloured villages and is spread out over some 200 acres of lush landscaped grounds, so for peace of mind perhaps upgrading to a preferred room may just be the right thing for your family.
If I can help sprinkle any extra pixie dust onto your October 2016 Walt Disney World Resort holiday plans please pop back to ask me another question.
    Have a great Disney day.
