Hi all. We are booked in a garden view room at Port Orleans Riverside. Can you tell me where the rooms will be and what would be a good manison house to ask for? Also, are all the rooms going to be refurbed by the end of Jan? Thank you!!!

    Hi Michelle!

A garden view room is basically any room that doesn't have a view of the pool or the river that runs through the resort.  All of the buildings in Magnolia Bend (the mansion style rooms) section of the resort has them.  I can tell you that my favorite buildings, in terms of location, are the Magnolia and Oak buildings.  I think both of them provide good access to the main building, the main pool area, and a bus stop; between those two, I guess Oak is my favorite.

Oak Manor will be refitted with the new Royal Rooms; the work there isn't expected to be completed until mid-February at the earliest.  The rooms at Parterre Place will not have been refurbished by the time you arrive.  The other rooms in Magnolia Bend will have been refurbished.

Enjoy planning your magical Walt Disney World Resort vacation and write back if you have any more questions!
