At any given moment, I have multiple Walt Disney World vacations booked (and sometimes one to
Disneyland Resort, too!). Thanks to my impulsiveness, I occasionally have to cancel or make a change. When we make a reservation under a special promotion, adjusting the dates can be tricky. Sometimes it's allowed; at other times, the terms of the special rate no longer apply, and the discount is forfeited. If the start date of your trip is more than 30 days away, and your new dates are also within the original eligible dates of the special, you are typically able to keep your rate.
Your best option is to call the
Walt Disney World Tickets and Hotel Reservations line. A Cast member will be able to look directly at your reservation and the possible adjustments and give you the best possible chance to keep that promotion. I think it's the safest bet.
