Magic Kingdom Cinderella Castle

I just booked my FP's for MK, the park closes at 10pm and we have a FP window for Haunted Mansion from 9:30pm-10:30pm, we want to go there from the fireworks, will we be able to use the FP and enter the queue after 10pm?

Hi, Cathleen, and welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.

The Haunted Mansion is one of my favorite attractions at Magic Kingdom Park, and there’s just something extra special spooky about riding it at night. My family and I often like to save it for our last ride of the evening, too!

While FastPass+ windows are typically an hour, sometimes you’ll find ones that are only 30 minutes at the end of the evening. I just tried booking a FastPass for several rides at Magic Kingdom Park for one day this week when the Park closes at 10, and each of those only had a 9:30-10 p.m. window. Of course, Park Hours are always subject to change, but for a 10 p.m. closing, your FastPass+ window should close at that time as well. I would suggest double-checking your My Disney Experience mobile app to make sure your Haunted Mansion times aren’t listed as 9:30-10.

If you do only have that 30-minute window, I would suggest watching Happily Ever After from the left side of Cinderella Castle (near the bridge to Liberty Square). That way, as soon as the fireworks conclude just after 9:30, you’ll be able to head through Liberty Square, take a right past The Hall of Presidents, and be at Haunted Mansion with plenty of time to enter the queue before 10 p.m.

Beware of hitchhiking ghosts, though, Cathleen! Please let us know if there’s anything else we can do to help you have a spooktacular time at Magic Kingdom Park.
